Prayer of Total Consecration

O Immaculata, queen of heaven and earth, refuge of sinners and our most loving Mother, God has willed to entrust the entire order of mercy to you. I, [name], a repentant sinner, cast myself at your feet, humbly imploring you to take me with all that I am and have, wholly to yourself as your possession and property.

Please make of me, of all my powers of soul and body, of my whole life, death and eternity, whatever most pleases you.

If it pleases you, use all that I am and have without reserve, wholly to accomplish what was said of you:

"She will crush your head", and "You alone have destroyed all heresies in the whole world." Let me be a fit instrument in your immaculate and merciful hands for introducing and increasing your glory to the maximum in all the many strayed and indifferent souls and thus help extend as far as possible the blessed kingdom of the most Sacred Heart of Jesus. For wherever you enter you obtain the grace of conversion and growth in holiness, since it is through your hands that all graces come to us from the most Sacred Heart of Jesus.

V. Allow me to praise you, O Sacred Virgin.

R. Give me strength against your enemies.

Daily Consecration to Mary

Queen of the Most Holy Rosary, I renew my consecration to you and to your Immaculate Heart. Please accept me, my dear Mother, and use me as you wish to accomplish your designs upon the world. I am all yours, my Mother, my Queen, and all that I have is yours.

A Child's Consecration to Mary

Dear Mary, my holy Mother, I love you so much, and I give you my heart. Help me to love God. Help me to love my neighbor as a child of God. Help me to love myself as a child of God. Amen.

Act of Consecration to the Immaculate Heart of Mary

I, [name], a faithless sinner, renew and ratify today in thy hands, O Immaculate Mother, the vows of my baptism; I renounce forever Satan, his pomps and works; and give myself entirely to Jesus Christ, the Incarnate Wisdom, to carry my cross after Him all the days of my life, and to be more faithful to Him than I have ever been before.

In the presence of all the heavenly court I choose thee this day, for my Mother. I deliver and consecrate to thee, as thy slave, my body and soul, my goods, both interior and exterior, and even the value of all my good actions, past, present, and future; leaving to thee the entire and full right of disposing of me, and all that belongs to me, without exception, according to thy good pleasure, for the greater glory of God, in time and in eternity. Amen.

Prayer for the Consecration of the Family

Most Sacred Hearts of Jesus and Mary, I consecrate myself and my whole family to you. We consecrate to you our very being and all our life; all that we are, all that we have, and all that we love. To you we give our bodies, our hearts, and our souls. To you we dedicate our home and our country.

Mindful of this consecration, we now promise you to live the Christian way by the practice of Christian virtues, without regard for human respect. O most Sacred Hearts of Jesus and Mary, accept our humble confidence and this act of consecration by which we entrust ourselves and all our family to you. In you, we put all our hope, and we shall never be confounded.

Most Sacred Heart of Jesus, have mercy on us.

Immaculate Heart of Mary, be our salvation. Amen.

Family Consecration to the Sacred Heart of Jesus

O most Sacred Heart of Jesus, we come to You as a family and consecrate ourselves to Your Sacred Heart. Protect us through Your Most Precious Blood, and keep us pure and holy.

O Dear Jesus, we are so far away from Your most pure and Sacred Heart.

As a family we need Your help. Heal all the quarrels that exist in our family due to our unforgivingness and lack of love for You. Heal our unbelieving and unconverted hearts and lead us to Your Sacred Heart with love. Unite us as a family and remove all stain of sinfulness from our souls. Help us to be a prayerful and loving family, so that through our example we may lead other souls to Your Most Sacred Heart.

We give You our hearts, dearest Jesus, and consecrate our family through the fourth generation. Through the prayers of our dearest Mother Mary, may we live this consecration every day of our lives. Amen.

Most Sacred Heart of Jesus, have pity on us.

Family Consecration to the Immaculate Heart of Mary

O Mother most pure, we come to you as a family and consecrate ourselves to your most Immaculate Heart. We come to you as a family and place our trust in your powerful intercession.

O dearest Mother Mary, teach us as a mother teaches her children, for our souls are soiled and our prayers are weak because of our sinful hearts. Here we are, dearest Mother, ready to respond to you and follow your way, for your way leads us to the heart of your Son, Jesus. We are ready to be cleansed and purified.

Come then, Virgin Most Pure, and embrace us with your motherly mantle. Make our hearts whiter than snow and as pure as a spring of fresh water.

Teach us to pray, so that our prayers may become more beautiful than the singing of the birds at the break of dawn.

Dear Mother Mary, we entrust to your Immaculate Heart of Hearts our family and our entire future. Lead us all to our homeland, which is heaven. Amen.

Immaculate Heart of Mary, pray for us.

Mary's Flowers

Marigold

Both the English marigold "calendula" and the French or garden marigold were used as gold-colored dye for wool. Marigolds symbolize Mary's domesticity and also sometimes her sorrows, as the the blossom's strong scent reminded people of burial ointments.

Violet

The small, delicate violet, with its faint, sweet fragrance and heart-shaped leaves, reminds us of Mary—her humility, purity, and faithfulness.
